Laicee's Christening

I had the pleasure of photographing little Laicee's Christening in Gravesend at a gorgeous church, then on to a local cricket club for the after party! Her Godmother had booked me as a present - what a lovely Godmother! Here are some shots from her special day:

The Phillips Wedding

Last Saturday I photographed the wedding of the new Mr & Mrs Phillips. They had thought that they didn't want a photographer but kids know best, and 2 days before the wedding I got a call from the grooms daughter saying her and her brother would like to book me for an hour or two to make sure the memories were savoured. Luckily I had kept myself free as I had a busy weekend planned and was able to step in at the last minute. All day the weather had been lovely, but as soon as I arrived at Bromley registry office it poured with rain. All the guests arrived soaking, but it didn't dampen spirits! Once the ceremony was over the rain had cleared and was dry enough to get all the group shots done that the couple wanted. Here are a few from the day:

Mad Hatter's Tea Party

A couple of weeks ago, in a leafy Kentish house, we laid in wait, silently, in the garden... awaiting the arrival of a very special lady who's 60th birthday it was. Her daughter had told her they were meeting in a restaurant for lunch and had asked her to pop in to her sisters house to pick up her glasses en route. Little did she know that there was a surprise Mad Hatter's Tea Party being held in her honour!

The garden was set up with gazebos, tables laid with tablecloths and cups and saucers. Teapots dotted around containing drink of the pink and fizzy variety, croquet, cupcakes, little animals.... and the most amazing birthday cake I have ever laid eyes on. Her daughter had put a lot of thought into this - all the little details such as the 'eat me' signs on the cakes her and her son had made, the playing card garlands strung up - and the fact she'd asked the rest of the family, who were the guests, to wear hats - a la Alice in Wonderland.

There were a few tears shed, but a lovely day had by all. I truly hope that I have someone in my life who would do something so kind and thoughtful for me for my 60th birthday.

Olivia & Michael

These two have recently got engaged, and to mark the occasion, and get some shots for the walls of their new pad, they had a photo session with me, on location, in London Bridge. It was extremely hot and bright, so we had a bit of work finding spots that were shady and where the sun didn't blind them, but some of the locations we found were utterly gorgeous. I'm thrilled with the pics - they're away at the moment so haven't seen but once they do I hope they love them as much as I do! As usual, some faves...
